This video should inspire every Australian living in semi-arid climates with degraded soil. Thiago Babosa helped us establish our first system 6 years ago, and is still touring Australia teaching the brilliance of Syntropic Agroforestry with Rebel Black at the Hungry Spirit, Lightning Ridge.
This is proof that we can regenerate this country back to a lush tropical oasis without much rainfall. This video gave me great hope. We've got this!

Thank you to everyone who came to the Sunday Sessions we have been running here at the Lighthouse over the last two months. It has been a joy to see our friends in community share their gifts and be supported by their community.
The last event of the term will be on this Sunday at 2-5pm. We will be planting a few hundred seedlings and talking Syntropic farming. We love community gatherings and encourage people to bring food to share afterwards, and musical instruments for an evening of connection.
This is a working farm so please wear appropriate footwear, hats and sun protection, and bring water for hydration. No charge and children are welcome.
Tim will be running another Fermentation and Gut Health workshop on 16th April.
We have just announced the next dates for our 2 Part Syntropic program. 30 April and 14 May
See www.trybooking.com/CGYBM for bookings.
The SUNDAY SESSIONS continue at the Lighthouse...
Rosie's Enter the Vortex workshop was magnificent last Sunday. We are all set for our Syntropics course this Sunday for Part 1 of our new & revitalised program. We aren't even half way through yet!

Featuring the Jamba Dream portal with Boris, Yoga with Dani, Dance with Melissa and Isaac Crowley will bring us more magic free-styling messages. Of course Solua will have us dancing those latin beats on the deck until late to close.
Workshops and music all afternoon on the Deck! Limited door sales, so please check the link and get your tickets. http://trybooking.com/CFXYG Don't miss out. Please park on the road.

How cute is "Come into the Garden Dad!" in this Victory Garden poster? I've been looking for inspiration through WWII posters where there was a food crisis and the public were encouraged by government to grow food for the war effort and to fight inflation.
Given the current growing instability with supply chain disruption and rising fuel prices amid an economy imploding from 2 years of debilitating mandates, we are again at that point (*except we haven't been encouraged to grow healthy food for the 'Recovery Effort'.)
We need people to take up spades (or hoes) in droves everywhere and collaborate with our wise gardeners, and help establish abundant food systems in our backyards (or front yards). Many have extensive lawns that are only mown, but could be contributing to our Sunshine Coast Local Organic Food Economy.
Canada's Economic Recovery is Technology focused.
Now is the time to prepare your garden beds in readiness for March planting. February is notoriously unpredictable with rain and heat in SE Queensland.
